Description:
Light brown colour, mottled black or brown. This large fish can be
identified by its scale pattern.
Fishing Strategy: This species is common with
many anglers as it is easy to catch. Many young anglers enjoy catching
them.
Eating Quality: Excellent eating

can be light rods and light line with float for the smaller carps
For
specimen or larger carps, strong line such as between15/20 lbs breaking
strain is required with big
strong sharp hooks size 4/8 UK size. Using a bolt rig leadgered with
hair rig.
- Be prepared for large, heavy specimens
- Due to the species large size - care must be
taken when handling the fish.
